Membsa Nepal met the Prime Minister for the reformation of the Public Petition Act and effective implementation.
During a meeting led by Membsa Nepal President Chandrakala Kafle, the Honorable Prime Minister discussed the alarming rise in violence against women and children in Nepal. A memorandum was presented with strategies to mitigate these occurrences. The meeting also highlighted the impactful campaign by Membsa Nepal to combat gender-based violence through education, community engagement, and advocacy efforts.
Collaborative Meeting with Hon. Ashok Rai, Education Minister of Nepal:
A meeting was led by Membsa International president Yaman Sharma Poudel, where we had the privilege of meeting with Hon. Ashok Rai, Education Minister, to discuss ways to enhance the effective implementation of the state's free education policy in rural Nepal. The meeting was productive, and we explored various strategies to improve access to quality education for all children, regardless of their socio-economic background. We look forward to continuing this collaboration and making a positive impact on the education sector in Nepal.

The meeting on women empowerment and child violence was led by Membsa International President Yaman Sharma Poudel and Membsa Nepal President Chandrakala Kafle. During the meeting, important topics were discussed, and Membsa Nepal expressed its willingness to implement the Ministry's strategy towards women and children in various sectors. It was a productive discussion towards creating a safer and more equal society.

Members of the Membsa Nepal Sunsari Branch met with the Mayor of Dharan, Mr. Harka Sampang, to express their interest in collaborating with the municipality's programs to empower women. The team members strongly urged the municipality to provide training programs aimed at empowering women by developing their skills and promoting their independence.

Today, in celebration of National Children’s Day, MEMBSA Nepal, Jhapa organized a special program in Naya Basti, Birtamod. On this occasion, we spent time with underprivileged children, distributed stationery supplies, and provided a nutritious lunch.

In celebration of its 5th anniversary, Mechi Mahakali Buhari Samikta Awaj (MEMBSA Nepal) made a profound impact by donating NPR 25,000 towards the construction of a water channel at Satakshi Dharm Temple.
